Who We Are

HorseSport USA was launched in November, 2002 initially to provide a full color glossy showcase of show horses for sale, based in the world's major equestrian center during winter, Wellington, Florida. Within months, the magazine evolved into providing coverage of high performance dressage and show jumping, firstly from Wellington then major regional championships such as the Pan American Games and premier shows in the U.S. and Europe.

By 2005, HorseSport USA coverage had expanded to become the only American media operation to cover the Samsung Super League of the top eight jumping events.

In 2006 HorseSport USA provided the most complete staff coverage of the world's leading horse shows of any magazine in the world--Wellington's Winter Equestrian Festival, the World Cups of Jumping in Kuala Lumpur and Dressage in Amsterdam, the Samsung Super League circuit, the quadrennial World Equestrian Games, U.S. Dressage Festival of Champions, the Al Maktoum Invitational in Dubai, World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden and more. The extensive reporting and photographing led to publishing the first annual review of high performance jumping and dressage, the full color, hard cover 256-page book, HorseSport USA 2006.

The year 2007 saw more coverage from California, both dressage and jumping, and complete reports of the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro in addition to the Samsung Super League, the North American Junior and Young Riders Championships, Dressage Festival of Champions, Spruce Meadows and Dressage at Devon. In addition to staff coverage, the extraordinary talents of Georgina Bloomberg were enlisted to chronicle for HorseSport USA the European tour of a U.S. team on which she was a key rider In 2008,

HorseSport USA will further expand coverage in the magazine to include high performance show hunters and the top polo circuit as well as implementing major changes to its Internet web site offering breaking news and results, and broadcast video. A major feature of HorseSport USA in 2008 will be the Olympic Games in addition to the signature coverage of America's top riders and horses competing against the world's best wherever in the world those competitions are held.
